How to Open An Account

GENERAL POLICIES:

La Vida Verde opens orders with a $250.00 minimum.
New accounts are by COD or by credit card payment. (All major credit cards are accepted.)
Net 30 Terms are available after an account has been established.
With terms, La Vida Verde prefers to keep a current credit card on file should payments be over 30 days from delivery.
Late Payments made by credit card when a client is on Net 30 terms are subject to a 3% fee and the loss of Net 30 terms for future orders.
It is our policy to ship any back orders when they arrive unless you, the customer has cancelled.
We receive shipments from five different countries that seldom arrive in our warehouse at the same time. When we ship an order, we list any items that are back ordered and give an estimate as to its arrival here in the US. We charge a 15% restocking fee for any orders or back orders that are returned.
Due to increased UPS shipping fees, most orders will be charged 15-18% of the total invoice cost for shipping and handling.
We will gladly ship items on your UPS account.
If items are received by the customer and damaged-please notify us within two weeks of receipt.
LVV will either replace the item or credit your account.
Please save the packing materials if the item was damaged during shipping for UPS
insurance purposes.

La Vida Verde, Inc. adheres to strict Fair Trade Practices and we are proud members of the Fair Trade Federation. This means that we pay living wages to our artisans and there is no child labor involved in the making of any of our products. We also believe strongly in preserving traditional cultures by promoting art and protecting the environment. We visit our artists and artist co-ops every year and host an annual fundraiser for them and their community.

Warehouse visits on Whidbey Island are welcome by appointment.
